    Louisville’s Bats Are The Perfect Family Experience!

    Baseball is back!! That’s a very exciting sentence to type and one that I can’t put enough emphasis on. I’ve been a baseball fan my entire life and with the addition of the pitch clock, the banning of the shift, and the bigger bases, Baseball is more exciting than it has ever been. Game times have decreased by around 30 minutes on average, stolen bases are up, the action has been magnified and even the oldest of old-school purists of the game have taken notice of the effectiveness of the new rules. What’s not to love?! Everybody wins!

    If you’ve ever made it to Thunder Over Louisville, you’re well aware that it is very crowded most years. No way around it, 500,000 people take up a lot of real estate. If you’ve never been, you simply HAVE to enjoy your first one at Waterfront Park. But, if you’d like something different to occupy you during the day, while also providing a seat, clean restrooms, less crowded concessions and the ability to come and go between your seat amd Waterfront Park.     This Central Kentucky Diamond is a Real Gem!

    Spring has sprung and it’s time for the diamonds to shine. The brightest diamond in Central Kentucky happens to belong to the Lexington Legends. Lexington’s Class A Minor League affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. This weekend, the Legends played host to the West Virginia Power, Class A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The WV Power have become a natural rival for the Legends, as their fanbases are close enough that they often travel to each other’s stadiums to take in the action. On this weekend though, the teams added a little historical flavor to the mix. With both states having resident’s of both the Hatfield’s & McCoy’s, the families…

    The Lexington Legends host their home opener on Thursday, April 13th. The West Virginia Power roll into town for a four-game series, before the Greenville Drive close out the seven-game homestand. If you enjoy the outdoors, baseball, hot dogs and maybe even a frosty beverage or two, it’s Kentucky Ale’s Thirsty Thursday. You can enjoy $1 beers and $1 Pepsi products all night long.
