Welcome back!! After a peaceful night of much-needed rest, I started my day off with Luna and The Mountain Jets. David and Teresa Prince are two of my favorite folks on this planet. A day with those two in it is always a wonderful day. I have never, nor will I ever, hear anyone say a bad word about them. Their set was the morning fuel that I needed to get going. Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Little Ross Creek is the home of the Roberts family. The crickets, frogs and birds provided the soundtrack for a peaceful nights rest and it was once again time to do some kickin’ on the creek.The music started early on my day two and the fact that Mr. Childers would be playing later on Saturday night, I fully expected the crowd to be much thicker. Kickin’ It On The Creek (KIOTC) has quickly grown into the absolute MUST have ticket for Kentucky Festivals. The four-day event held deep in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains has drawn in like-minded folks who have banded together to create a beautiful, helpful, loving community.
