Campton’s Tyler Booth Releases EP Titled ‘Grab The Reins’ Through Sony Music Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Sony Music Nashville/Villa 40 recording artist Tyler Booth released his new EP, Grab The Reins, on Friday. Listen here.

Grab the Reins is me having the confidence to say, ‘this is who I am,’” said Booth. “These songs reflect where I’m from, how I was raised, and are at the core my interpretation of Country Music as a songwriter and an artist.”

The project includes “Already Got One,” released early this year along with the “enchanting” (American Songwriter) “Palomino Princess,” which Billboard commented “perfectly suit his deep, ranging voice.”

Tyler Booth Returns To Kentucky And Performs To A Sold-out Crowd At 4th Street Live In Louisville!

Friday nights in Louisville just became a lot hotter! Fourth Street Live! has teamed up with 97.5 WAMZ to feature some of Kentucky’s quickly rising young stars right in the heart of the downtown area. On a very humid night, Wolfe Countian Tyler Booth took the stage to kick off their ongoing concert series. He had in tow, another Kentuckian that has grown on the Austin City Saloon stage alongside him in Josh Bogard.

Tyler Booth Unleashes “Half A Mind To Go Crazy”

If you’re new here, welcome. If you’ve followed Capture Kentucky for long at all, you’ve seen the name Tyler Booth. A Wolfe County native with a golden baritone voice that now calls Nashville home.

We’ve likely covered Tyler Booth more than any other media outlet. The Booth family are friends, but we consider each other family since we’ve known each other so long.

We’ve been growing alongside Tyler Booth from the early days of his music journey and having said that, I am EXTREMELY excited to share Tyler’s brand new song, “Half A Mind To Go Crazy.” (more…)

NASHVILLE, Tenn. —  Sony Music Nashville and Villa 40 announce the signing of singer/songwriter Tyler Booth to Villa 40/Sony Music Nashville. Booth is the first artist to launch as part of an exclusive, long-term joint-venture agreement between the label group and Villa 40, co-founded by music industry executives including Joe Fisher, Brad Margolis and Trace Ayala.

“I’m so excited to sign with Sony Nashville/Villa 40; they plucked me out of the hills of Kentucky,” Booth said. “They told me they believed in me, loved the music I was making and felt like they wanted to be a part of my future.  I’ve grown to know them like family and feel like it’s where I belong.”

Born and raised in Wolfe County in the Southeastern region of Kentucky, Tyler Booth has been writing songs and honing his craft for years, but, it was his smooth baritone vocals that first caught the attention of producer/songwriter Phil O’Donnell. Hailing from the stomping grounds of John Michael Montgomery, Montgomery Gentry and George Molton, the 23-year-old performs regularly at the famed Austin City Saloon in Corbin, Kentucky. (more…)
