Anthrax, Black Label Society, and Exodus Brought The Metal To Corbin!
Attendees were treated to an amazing show, at the Corbin Arena on February 7th. Not one, not two, but three great bands played to an audience of over 2000. Anthrax, Black Label Society, and Exodus showcased at least 10 of their hit songs in each set. We did it!! Another year on the books as 2019 a tremendous year for Capture Kentucky. We helped shed some light on many of the deserving Kentuckians that occupied many different stages. I debated on putting this photo recap together, but oh what a year it was! On The Road: Coverage From Sunday At The INKcarceration Festival At Shawshank Prison in Mansfield, OH
Day two at the INKcarceration Festival was all about the music. The lineup on Sunday, if you looked at my iTunes, you’d think that I could’ve possibly had a hand in putting that lineup together. There were so many incredible artists, one right after the other. The good thing about it? At INKcarceration, bands never overlap so actually get to see all the bands you pay for.

On The Road: Coverage From Saturday At The INKcarceration Festival At Shawshank Prison in Mansfield, OH
Tattoos, music, food and one of my favorite places were enough to draw me North to Mansfield, OH. The 2018 INKcarceration Festival is a music and tattoo festival that hosted 70+ tattoo artists 33 bands over three days at the historic Ohio State Reformatory, or as most refer to it, the Shawshank Prison. That’s correct, my personal favorite movie (and hopefully yours), Stephen King’s ‘The Shawshank Redemption’ was filmed on location in and around Mansfield, OH.

Louder Than Life Returns To Louisville For It’s 4th Year Of Controlled Chaos
With the college basketball scandal that broke last week, Louisville needed a reason to smile and let go. Thankfully, for the 2nd week in a row, a Danny Wimmer Festival took over Champions Park. If only for a couple days, Louder Than Life allowed those who are proud of their city and University to focus on simply having a great time in absolutely beautiful weather. Despite his best efforts, not even Rick Pitino could dampen the spirit of Louisville.
