    Here at Capture Kentucky, we’ve been incredibly blessed to be a part of some really great moments. Moments that will someday soon, be looked upon as part of our musical history. We’ve already seen the rise of several Kentucky artists and we feel there are plenty more on the horizon.     Bourbon & Beyond: Sting, John Mayer, Robert Plant Lead Music Lineup For Bourbon, Food & Music Festival In Louisville September 22 & 23

    The second annual Bourbon & Beyond festival makes its much-anticipated return to Champions Park in Louisville, KY, Saturday, September 22 and Sunday, September 23 with the perfect blend of bourbon, food & music not found anywhere else in the world. Festival producers Danny Wimmer Presents, culinary curator Edward Lee (The Mind of A Chef) and bourbon curator Fred Minnick have put together another incredible bourbon, music, and culinary lineup for the weekend. World-renowned musicians including Sting and Robert Plant And The Sensational Space Shifters, as well as superstars John Mayer, Lenny Kravitz, Counting Crows and David Byrne, lead the music lineup of more than 30 artists. Tom Colicchio, Stephanie Izard, Aarón Sánchez and Ray Garcia lead the culinary lineup of more than 20 chefs.     Let Your Soul Shine. Gov’t Mule At The Mountain Arts Center Prestonsburg, Kentucky

    What’s a good way to spend a Monday evening in Eastern Kentucky? Glad you asked! You hop in your vehicle (a pickup truck in my case) and make the beautiful drive along Highway 80 to the MAC in Prestonsburg for a night with Gov’t Mule. It’s about an hour drive for me, but this time of year it’s an even more beautiful drive than normal, as the leaves are beginning to show what’s in store in the coming days.
