    Day One From The Master Musicians Festival in Somerset, KY

    Somerset, Kentucky was definitely the place to be on the first full weekend of July! The 24th edition of the Master Musicians Festival was about to get started and I was about shoot my first festival. How cool is that? Here’s to hoping that I don’t let ya down! Haha Things got started early on Friday and thankfully Mother Nature didn’t throw anything terribly bad at the festival crowd, other than some Summer heat. I mean, it is July in south central Kentucky after all! Ya had to at least expect a need for sunscreen.

    Master Musicians Fest Announces Lineup For Its 24th Annual Event in Somerset

    Somerset, Kentucky – Festival community stars Dawes, an Americana folk-rock band recently featured on the main stage at Bonnaroo and two sold-out shows at the famed Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, will headline the 24th Master Musicians Festival July 7-8, 2017, at Somerset Community College’s Festival Field. The two-day event is presented by Don Marshall Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. Dawes will be followed on Saturday night by MMF’s most requested band, Blackberry Smoke, a southern/country rock band from Atlanta, Georgia, whose 2016 album, “Like an Arrow,” landed at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Country and Americana/Folk charts.
