You Wanted It, You Got It…One Last Time…KISS Invades Louisville!

Having been a KISS fan since 1977, I’ve probably seen them in concert close to twenty times…and along the way, I’ve gotten a glimpse into the inner workings of the KISS machine. I have seen the original line-up in makeup, and the other various versions of KISS in and out of makeup. One common denominator in all of those versions is that they have always tried to deliver a great show for their fans and Tuesday night at the KFC Yum Center in Louisville, KY was no exception.

The Ultimate KISS Tribute Band, Kentucky’s Own Dressed To Kill at The MAC in Prestonsburg.

Saturday’s show was the first of what will be a great year of shows at the MAC and I’m looking forward to attending as many as I can and so should you! There is no better venue in Eastern Kentucky to catch a show. The lights, the sound, the staff, the location…it’s all perfect!

Of the last four shows I’ve covered here at the MAC, three have been of the country variety. Two Tyler Childers shows, one Sundy Best (both Kentucky artists) and a Gov’t Mule show stuck in the middle. There was absolutely no doubt that tonight’s show was all about rocking and rolling all night long and of course partying every day. Once you entered the theater, you were immediately drawn to a large lighted KISS sign hanging behind and above the drum riser on stage. (more…)
