I know what you’re thinking. Which one is Wayne Graham? And the answer is none of them. The bands moniker was created by combining the two Grandfathers that brothers Hayden and Kenny Miles share. As a fellow Eastern Kentuckian, I certainly understand and appreciate the nod to family. While Joy! is Wayne Graham’s fourth release, in my humble opinion, it is by far their most ambitious. John R. Miller is a well-known singer-songwriter from West Virginia that has been a major influence on many Kentucky musicians. Miller’s work with Prison Book Club caught the attention of a young Kentuckian by the name of Tyler Childers. So as you can imagine, Prestonsburg was buzzing with excitement that such an amazingly talented individual was visiting the Mountain Arts Center.
